FDCI India Couture Week 2021 is organized by the Fashion Design Council of India which is a non-profit organization and truly committed to propagating the fashion business in India. It is accompanied by various fashion designers, accessory creators, professionals and more than 400 members to nurture and ensure the sustainable growth of Indian fashion.
The FDCI keeps its calendar filled with different fashion events throughout the year and one of the most prominent ones is India Couture Week, which is recently scheduled from August 23-29, 2021. It was a digital edition of heart-warming outfits by leading fashion designers of India, to bless your social media feed with tempting images of dreamy dresses. Day 1 of the event graced with the fashion blast by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra with his couture ‘Nooraniyat’ and the designer Rahul Mishra stole all the limelight with his grand finale French Couture ‘Kam-khab’.
19 fashion designers took part in this fashion celebration including, Amit Aggarwal with his ‘Metanoia’, Amit GT with his ‘SCINTILLA’, Anamika Khanna, Anju Modi with her ‘The Eternal Story’, Ashima Leena with her ‘Nazm-e-Mahal’, Dolly J with her ‘Ah-Lam’, Falguni Shane Peacock with their ‘Love Is’, Gaurav Gupta with his ‘Universal Love’, Kunal Rawal with his ‘Vision Quest’, Manish Malhotra with his ‘Nooraniyat’, Pankaj & Nidhi with their ‘After Glow’, Rahul Mishra with his ‘Kam-khab’, Reynu Taandon with her ‘Zuri-Beauty lies within’, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna with their ‘Alchemize’, Shantanu & Nikhil with their ‘Oasis’, Siddartha Tytler with his ‘Ambrosia’, Suneet Varma with his ‘Noor’, Tarun Tahiliani with his ‘Artisanal Couture’ and Varun Bahl with his ‘Memory/Mosaic.
